February Wishlist - The John Lewis EDIT Edition

With Spring only a couple of days away, I have been looking for a couple of new season outfits. John Lewis is one of my favourite stores to go to, and every month they do the EDIT, which is a great place for me to go and get some new ideas. This month's edit is Modern Simplicity which is my style in a nutshell! I put a couple of outfits together but this one was my favourite which is now on my wishlist! As you all already probably know, I am a massive fan of oversized silk blouses and this Somerset by Alice Temperley Silk Cut Out Blouse in Cream looks so lovely (do also check out their pale blue version of this blouse, I still can't decide which one I prefer!) I would pair the blouse with these gorgeous looking Reiss Barratt Straight Leg Trousers in Slate. It's the kind of outfit I would wear for lunch dates/meetings, or equally if I was going to London or the city, I would wear this to catch up with a friend over coffee.

Recently I have seen bloggers everywhere with these Christian Dior Dior Technologic Pilot Sunglasses which is why they are now top of my wishlist. They look unique and like a modern version of the classic aviators which I love. I think this outfit becomes everyday smart casual with the sunglasses and the Pointed Toe Slip On Trainers in Grey. Suede trainers I have wished for since I saw them come about last summer, they are so simple but really compliment a more dressed up outfit which is what I like to do on a daily basis! Keep it smart but throw in a couple of really casual items! I think I've always had a city street style look to my clothes having lived 7 years in Paris and seen the french wear fashion so casually yet chic whether they would be going for coffee or walking errands around the city. I continuously aspire to dress as effortlessly as them!

The Daniel Wellington Classic Leather Strap Watch I have seen for a while now and I really like the oversized watch face look with a classic tan strap. It also matches this open oversized leather Tote Bag in Tan, and I felt like this outfit needed a pop of colour with the watch and bag. For me, classic accessories are the kind of items that make an outfit.

The mornings are still on the colder side and so I have been looking for a thinner coat in my wardrobe to bridge the seasons. I have been looking for a pale grey coat for a while now, and I love the lightweight feel to duster coats. I think this coat would look amazing matching the grey Pointed Toe Slip On Trainers and the blue and tan neutrals in this outfit. Definitely wishing for this outfit for Spring! What are your favourite items right now?
