What To Wear This Spring

Spring is in the air. I type this after spending a day in the sun, on the first and hottest day of the year. I love blogging but come Spring/Summer - the warmer weather gets me so excited to push out more content. Investing in new Spring clothing is always incredibly satisfying. Mainly because I find my style changes year on year as I get older, and investing in new styles and colour staples can completely revamp your wardrobe, and totally fire up your confidence.

What am I loving this season?

Bright colours paired with classics. I'll be honest, I like to play it safe when it comes to fashion, whilst still making a statement - but an understated one ! For me, it's about that one pop of colour that makes an entire outfit remain current yet sophisticated and simplistic. This Karen Millen tan skirt is very flattering from it's high waist design, and so comfortable to wear on an everyday basis. Sometimes you're just in need of an outfit that works, whether it be for a meeting with your boss, visiting a client, or even going out for coffee with a friend you haven't seen in a while. This bright coloured skirt paired with this simple oversized lace blouse is my fail-proof option this season.

Why you can never have enough white blouses?

I honestly have about ten different versions of the classic white blouse. Trust me, you can never have enough. From sleeveless shirt blouses, to lacy oversized or even tailored silk white blouses. The list could go on, but each and every one of them will work with just about anything. It's that one piece of clothing that allows you to go all out with the rest of your outfit - keeping it simple!  The detail on this Karen Millen lace blouse adds a really beautiful feminine touch to this oversized style.
