The New Beauty Expert Rose Collection

A few weeks back, I was incredibly lucky to be invited to The Beauty Expert Pre-Launch Event of The Rose Edition Collection at The Ivy, in Covent Garden. I have always been mad about skincare and beauty products, but in the last six months of consistent blogging, my obsession over 'perfect skin' and finding those products that make you glow has definitely grown! I personally love products with any kind of rose extract in them, so when I heard about their new rose collection I was very excited!

It was so lovely to see so many of the brands featured in this collection come by and talk to us in more detail about their products. It has been an incredibly well thought out collection, and the bag overall makes a lovely gift! I also really love that this collection comes in a bag - I am endlessly losing my make up bags, and another one to keep my ever-growing pile of skincare and beauty products definitely makes me happy! The collection has six full sized products being the Korres Shower Gel, Pai Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil, MonuSkin Gentle Cleanser, Balance Me Rose Otto Body Cream, REN's Instant Brightening Eye Lift and the ARK Conditioning Oil.

You guys will have seen me mention previously how much I love REN's Instant Brightening Eye Lift - this product has really worked for me, and I love applying this in the evenings. I had never tried the ARK Conditioning Oil, but the smell won me over the first time I tried it. As far as body oils go, this has been one of my all time favourites! You can even use it as a hair mask, which you leave on for ten minutes before washing it off in the shower, and it seriously conditions your hair!

The funny thing about the Pai Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil is it comes out orange at first, but as you rub it into your skin, it just leaves you with a natural glow - something I wasn't expecting but actually really liked! This product has received so many amazing reviews and honestly I felt like it did truly live up to how much people said it did. Having dry skin, this oil has really helped brighten my skin over the last three weeks, and acts as a great repairing oil overnight. I also found it rehydrated my skin which was a huge bonus!! This one was one of my top favourites in the bag!

Having heard so many bloggers go on about Korres Shower Gels... I was extremely excited to see one of these in my bag. You can never have enough shower gel, right?! It's a really relaxing, rose scented shower gel, and I have honestly been using this one everyday! I think it's one of those relaxing pampering products that brings a little luxury to your daily routine - something I love to do.

It's the little things in life that make all the difference.

I really enjoyed using the MonuSkin Gentle Cleanser, which in all honesty I was a bit sceptical of. In the past, my skin has really struggled to adapt to new cleansers, but this one is so natural and creamy, it left my skin feeling as soft as my usual Liz Earle cleanser. I wouldn't say I preferred it from my Liz Earle version because it was a slightly less creamy texture. Having said that, they both retail for similar prices, and the smell of the MonuSkin Gentle Cleanser was honestly delicious. I think out of habit I have been biased towards my love of Liz Earle, but this is probably the closest comparable product I've tried on the market - so if you fancy a new gentle natural cleanser and have dry skin, you should give this one a try!

Finally, the Balance Me Rose Otto Body Cream smelt incredible and really leaves your skin so smooth, whilst being completely natural. I've been using it everyday after my showers and it's seriously hydrating. I absolutely loved the bag of products, I think it's makes a great collection for someone's birthday present or for any mum! If you love rose scented fragrances too, then this collection is seriously worth getting your hands on before it sells out!
