Spring Natural Everyday Dewy Make Up

Last Thursday, I went on a little bit of a beauty shopping spree in London.. and came back with a little more than expected! I have also become obsessed with anything that gives me that dewy, natural glow look at the moment! I was running out of my Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation which I have been using on and off for the past 5 years now, so I decided to try out a new foundation whilst in London, as there have been many bestselling foundations launched over the last year or two.

Although I had my eye on the Lancome Teint Visionnaire 2 in 1 Corrector and Perfecting Foundation (I wanted to give this one a try when I found out Rosie-Huntington Whiteley was a fan!), I decided to go to the Giorgio Armani counter to try out their famousLuminous Silk Foundation. It honestly comes very close to how I feel about the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation. I would say the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation has slightly more coverage (light to medium), very weightless on the skin, and really gives you that luminous glow without any shimmer. It's also very build-able, say you wanted a fuller coverage look in the evening. I also found myself using far less of this as it is a lot more concentrated.

I also picked up a Tom Ford lipstick, which I had heard lots about. I wanted one that I could wear daily, that looked natural but complimented my complexion. I found this gorgeous colourIndian Rose which has made its way straight to my handbag and I have been wearing it everyday since London. It really is a gorgeous everyday colour that I'm now a little bit addicted to.

The second thing I picked up from Tom Ford is this Shade and Illuminating Cream (Intensity One). The reason why I love this so much is because you can really create natural everyday contour/shawdows and instant cheekbones, but its definitely build-able for a more profound evening look. Being someone with fair and dry skin, I have learnt to stay away from bronzers that don't compliment my fair skin (i.e: that look too orange), and powders tend to look cakey on my skin type as opposed to creams. Although the shade cream looks dark at first, when you blend it into the skin, it leaves a natural contour. The illuminator acts identically and blends naturally into the skin and brightens the skin with a sheer shade.

Finally, I picked up this coral coloured Cheek Fabric Blusher in the colour 305 Dolci from Giorgio Armani. With my fair skin, I like to stay away from orange and pink tones in blushers/bronzers on my skin tone. This colour works perfectly for my skin tone, so if you have fair skin and are looking for a new blusher then I would definitely recommend this one, especially after applying the Tom Ford Shade and Illuminating Cream. I am wearing these two everyday at the moment. It just gives you a really nice healthy natural colour ready for Spring!

I also wanted to try the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer because it's been a bestseller for forever now and I felt like I needed to give it a go. I am so glad I tried this. It is so lightweight but completely covers my dark circles so this one has also made it to my handbag for daily touch ups. New love.
